Merry Christmas, Aleppo!
For Christmas 2025, AIULAS and the Marist International Solidarity Foundation (FMSI) renew their commitment to the community of Aleppo. After last year’s campaign focused on providing oil, this year the attention is on the elderly who are cared for daily by the Blue Marists.
What this year’s campaign is about
The project involves the distribution of Winter Kits, one for each elderly person assisted in Aleppo. The Kits include:
- Underwear and warm socks
- 1 duvet
- 1 electric heating bag
The delivery will take place during the Christmas period, thanks to the collaboration of the network of 155 Blue Marists volunteers, who work continuously in the area.
Goal and cost
The contribution for a single Kit is €50.
The aim is to provide all the people involved with practical and immediately useful support during the winter months.

Impact of the 2024 campaign
The 2024 campaign “Olive Oil for Aleppo” was carried out in collaboration with the Aiulas Solidarity Group, aiming to support families living in challenging conditions in Aleppo by providing food baskets and olive oil, an essential product for daily life.
Thanks to the generosity of donors, the campaign raised €5,821, enabling the purchase of oil and other food items for many families.
During the Christmas period, the initiative “A Liter of Hope” invited supporters to donate one liter of oil for €6. This part of the campaign raised an additional €3,013, contributing to the goal of distributing 1,100 liters of oil.
This was made possible thanks to the dedication of 155 volunteers from Blue Maristes, who work on the ground to ensure the products reach families.
The success of the 2024 campaign shows how even a small contribution can support daily life in Aleppo.
