From 15 to 19 January, 30 lay people and brothers will be at the General House to participate in the First Assembly of the International Marist Solidarity Network
70 entities from 26 administrative units were contacted: 26 solidarity bodies that depend on a province; 24 NGOs or foundations that work at the local level in a
specific area; 13 NGOs or foundations working at the national level; and seven NGOs or foundations that act at an international level. The International Marist Solidarity Network has the following objectives:
- Defensa de los derechos de los niños y las personas vulnerables.
- Promoción de una conciencia social compartida y educación en solidaridad.
- Promoción de programas de transformación social a través de la recaudación
de fondos, la movilización de recursos humanos, el intercambio de buenas
prácticas, etc. - Respuesta pronta y efectiva a emergencias
Los objetivos de la Asamblea son: - Obtener una comprensión global de la misión, visión y actividades de cada
entidad. - Definir estándares y mecanismos de operación.
- Llevar a cabo la elección del equipo de coordinación
- Discutir el plan operativo de esta red en 2018.
- Formación en diferentes temas según nuestra experiencia interna.
- Defending the rights of children and vulnerable people.
- Promotion of a shared social conscience and education in solidarity.
- Promotion of programs of social transformation through fundraising of funds, mobilization of human resources, exchange of good
internships, etc. - Prompt and effective response to emergencies
The objectives of the Assembly are:
-To obtain a global understanding of the mission, vision and activities of each entity.
-Define standards and operating mechanisms.
-Carry out the selection of the coordination team.
-Discuss the operational plan for this network in 2018.
-Training in different topics according to our internal experience.
